A few metres high and made of special sand. The sand of our beaches will not do, because the grain is too round.

Pretty impressive sight.

Thanks, just too bad they have to put fences around it or else the sculptures will not last more than a day (vandalism).

Great images of an awesome living art structure.
I was in Colorado one time when the world ice-carving competition was taking place. Really cool to watch those artists at work.
