Smoke clouds and golf courses (Pano's added, bottom 1st page)

Discussion in 'Landscapes, Architecture, and Cityscapes' started by lexiticus, Aug 3, 2009.

  1. Was doing some shots for a local golf course and the closest fire was in the process of growing from 4000 hectares to 7000 hectares!
So once I had grabbed all the "stock photo" style pictures for the golf course, I ran to the back 9 to get the best view for my own pictures!

    Number 3 looks wicked!
  9. Thanks everyone!

It was one of those right place, right time situations. And I had all the equipment for it. so I was just kind of running around to find diverse scenes to photograph!
  10. Here's 2 Panoramics I shot while I was on the course too. Took a bit longer to edit these, but I'm done now!

  11. That 2nd pano is way cool. It has a 'War of the Worlds' type feel to it.

Made me break my vow not to comment on pictures with big annoying watermarks.

I love these. All of them. The panos are just mindblowing. Wallhangers, each and every one.

    Those clouds...

    Nice job on these.
  15. Thanks :)
I've never liked watermarks myself, but after seeing people still printing a few of these on 4x6's for themselves I figured might as well have it work as advertising for me! (I used to cover a lot of MX)
