Hi Everybody,

New member, first post. Am a novice hobbiest, who recently came over from Olympus to Nikon and likes to take pictures of birds. Been very happy with my new kit, especially when small things start moving fast.

Forgive the bandwidth hogging, but I got this sequence earlier today, was pretty happy with it (despite the light being pretty bad and the unfortunate color of the duckweed background), and wanted to share.

Cheers,

Russ

Thanks very much everybody. This does indeed seem like a very friendly place.

I agree the duckweed does make it seem impossible to see anything in the water. But I watched that heron catch three fish in about twenty minutes. I was surprised he could still fly off afterwards.

Thanks again,

Russ
