Stopped by Snoqualmie Falls on the way home from a little apple picking trip. Just happened to be magic hour and although the shadows were pretty brutal, I like the way this came out.

And here's the REAL shocker ... on a whim I printed this up this morning to 13x19. Amazingly, from a foot or more away it looks absolutely amazing!! Sure, up close you can see where the iPhone's MP/lens fall a bit short ... but from a normal viewing distance it's striking how good it is!!

(I also tried it as a desktop on my iMac Retina ... didn't look very good there. Just not enough detail.)

Nice idea, but I'm afraid my CPA wife considers our iPhones as acceptable substitutes!! (Can't say as I disagree in general, but this time I should have let her use her phone!! )
