That's me, jack of all trades ... master of noneI didn't remember that you're a BIF photog. You're so good that you even know how to capture all the birds flying right side up.

Thanks for the update. It is getting to be that time of year and I was wondering when we could expect to start seeing them.Thousands are arriving from the Arctic.

In our part of the state, the most common area that I am aware of is throughout the Skagit Valley, midway between Seattle and Bellingham. What part of B.C are you in?In certain spots the whole shoreline is a whiteout. Where do they congregate in your state?

I'm in Vancouver. I guess they go to the Skagit to get whatever is left in the farmer's fields, and then off to Vegas for some R&RIn our part of the state, the most common area that I am aware of is throughout the Skagit Valley, midway between Seattle and Bellingham. What part of B.C are you in?

While I do chase geese and eagles in the winter, I remember in 2012 or 2013 when you had a large snowy owl eruption near White Rock. I so wanted to head up to see and photograph them, but I was sitting in a hospital getting chemo treatments all winter. I am waiting for another one, but it could be along wait. Perhaps I'd have better luck if I headed to Vegas, but who has luck in Vegas?I'm in Vancouver.
