Snowy Convergence

I shot this shortly after I acquired my D810. Taking an "ice Day" off work and cautiously driving around looking for interesting ice formations after overnight snow and freezing rain. Everywhere I looked the sun was reflecting off the coating of ice except on the converging lines of the tracks. I have always been a fan of high contrast and this scene worked well for a black and white conversion.

Love the converging rail lines and the dark/black tree line and sky! The high contrast so perfectly captures the blinding brightness typically associated with such a scene. Bravo.

I wonder if you have ever given consideration to cropping just above the tree line to accentuate the foreground detail and lines.
