  3. Gonna call you the bird brain for now...

Nice White and Blue colors..

  4. Striking photos Wade, excellent job with these. The Snowy has to be one of my favorite birds, love the last few captures with the wind blowing its feathers.

  5. I really like #'s 4&5. Great series.

thanks Louis, In many cases the boss Snowy would fluff up on purpose to run the other snows away from the prime feeding spot, (the walking shots) other times the wind did catch his plumage ( the two lower fishing series)

thanks for the look John, appreciate your time,

  13. Love those colors...

    what time of day?

  14. Wade you really nailed some great shots. The snowy egret has been high on my list to see as we don't have them here. I just returned from a week in San Diego and was lucky to have seen lots of them. I really like these birds with the ruffled feathers. Thanks for sharing them.

I believe the flight shot and fishing series was around 3:30-4 PM central time here in the midwest,

The other shots were closer to 5

thanks James, they tend to be skittish around here, but they were congregated around a flowing creek area on this afternoon shot. Only the big "boss" snowy fluffed up and only when he was warning the other snows to get out of his way and location. I have a ton of shots without the fluffs, but just waited for this bird to get mad and I fired away.

they are gorgeous when fluffed when preening, courting, or in this case intimidating!

    Thank you very much Art.
