Striking photos Wade, excellent job with these. The Snowy has to be one of my favorite birds, love the last few captures with the wind blowing its feathers.
thanks Louis, In many cases the boss Snowy would fluff up on purpose to run the other snows away from the prime feeding spot, (the walking shots) other times the wind did catch his plumage ( the two lower fishing series)

I really like #'s 4&5. Great series.
thanks for the look John, appreciate your time,

Wade you really nailed some great shots. The snowy egret has been high on my list to see as we don't have them here. I just returned from a week in San Diego and was lucky to have seen lots of them. I really like these birds with the ruffled feathers. Thanks for sharing them.

thanks James, they tend to be skittish around here, but they were congregated around a flowing creek area on this afternoon shot. Only the big "boss" snowy fluffed up and only when he was warning the other snows to get out of his way and location. I have a ton of shots without the fluffs, but just waited for this bird to get mad and I fired away.

they are gorgeous when fluffed when preening, courting, or in this case intimidating!

Beautiful shots of beautiful birds. Thanks.
Thank you very much Art.
