Great capture John. This one is a real keeper. Very cute pups too.

Exactly what happened to the cam?

Like a real noob............ I put the Nikon strap on the body incorrectly. The strap "let-go" just as I was walking out the house where there is a boulder-rock type walkway. The D2H is a total "stud" and it only has a couple of very minor scuff marks to show for the "experience". I guess I have to call this both a dumb and lucky event.

I've had lots of cameras but never dropped one before. Nikon builds some tuff HW! 8)

Very nice image John. I fell over backwards (downhill) while shooting with my D2H but managed to use my body to protect the camera. I did sprain a finger in the process. Glad your camera still works, that's why we buy professional gear.
