I took my new to me D2H to practice today for a tune up. The regular season for U6 starts next Saturday. I hope I am ready .

I think this is a goal. Tough to tell without the net.

Good luck to both of you in the upcoming season. I tried soccer a few weeks ago and failed miserably. I'll try again, but later when I develop some courage!

Frank - If you can shoot baseball as well as you do, shooting soccer should be very easy for you. Just a matter of a couple of games, thats all!!

Well, I have enough grey hair. I am hoping to gain some confidence after seeing more of Chris's soccer shots. This is one is so cute, can't wait to see more.

is that handheld or do you use a monopod when shooting soccer?

This one was handheld. When shooting with the 70-200, I don't use a monopod but I often sit and prop the lens on my knee for support.
