    Thank you all.

Here are some more history as requested by "Pa" :)  :

1:The first picture is from the Begna River (Storåa) in Vang in Valdres.

2:The second picture is from Høre stavkirke. (stavechurch)

3: Is from an old house on the east side of Vang, and Slettefjell in the background.

    4: Colorefull trees :)

5,6,7: Is from the old mills at Vennis.

On Vennis - on the north side of Vang Mjøsa, there are 5 protected mills along Lein waterfall. It is Valdres Folkmuseum at Fagernes who have professional responsibility for the maintenance, but it is Vang Council that has the financial responsibility.

The oldest kvernhuset is from the 1700s. The other is from after 1860. Previously, each farm had its own mills in the same way as grain farms today have their Combine harvesters. In 1729 alone, there were entire 79 mills in Vang.

After terrible veather in 1860, most old mills was destroyed.

These were used until the early 1900s. These painted grain in several qualities. Many attempted to get farmers to transport grain to the larger plants, but this took time and cost money.

Not until after the grain social security law was introduced in 1929, farmers began to make use of the new mill. Korn Welfare Act seemed so that it gave a grant to those who used the new mill.

Also note jette pots in the river range. Just by "Leinesanden" where people meen that "Olav the Holy" tried to Christian "vangsgjeldingene". (People from Vang)

Sorry for the bad translation !!!
    Best regards, Kjetil

#2 is my favorite, but I love them all!

Reminds me of the puzzles I use to put together as a kid.

That is funny, I love these pictures too with the exception of #6 where I find the building being distractive. To me the picture would be much more interesting without the noise of the building.
