Some BlueBirds this morning

    Was out this morning enjoying some coffee with the Bluebirds.

    Lovely images and looks like you have an active yard!

    I have a question for you: How do you get the Bluebirds to come after the mealworms? Is there a trick? We have a nesting pair in our yard three years running and as far as I know they have never been interested in the thousands of mealworms I have put out for them.:confused:

    Andy, I started out by putting the feeder (less the dome cover) right below the bird house. Once I saw that they were eating the worms I started moving it away from the house and then started hanging it. This is the first year I have tried this and works pretty good. Only problem is you go through alot of worms. Im guessing I go throug about 500 a week.
