    Thanks for looking!

  2. Jukka, these are all terrific!!

My favorite is #5, not because it's technically the best but because I love the iridescent eyes of Tabanids (genus Chrysops in this case).

    Cheers

fantastic stuff for sure. Allll of them

  4. Actually the reason the Harry S likes number 5 is because his eyes look like that after a night in the bars of Vienna.
Me. Well I like the jumping spider and the Robber Fly.
The goldwing we know as a Small Copper. The lemon we call a Brimstone and the Spooky one looks like a plume moth.

  5. Thanks Harry!

I really love those eyes too. Hopefully I´m able to get pics of those eyes with reversed 35mm next summer. Ofcourse due to annoyance of these
there´re going to be many many of them lying around non-moving :^) ...

(Well... that´s not the way I would like to do it...)

    Thanks Gale!

Really? Maybe I should visit in Vienna... I would love to have eyes like that:biggrin:

Glad you liked them! And thanks for the translation! I have been bit lazy and not trying to search their english names in the net...

Maybe you could tell me what this is. I don´t remember seeing this before:
