Some football from Sunday

Discussion in 'Sports Photography' started by mike mac, Sep 15, 2008.

  1. I covered 5 games on Sunday after shooting three soccer and two baseball games on Saturday, so between that and my regular work schedule I have not had much time to participate here, for that I am sorry
these are all with the D300 and the 300 2.8 with 1.4 tele

  2. Hope you had lots of water it really scorched Sat/Sun. I like that B&W conversion, makes the little guy look like YA Tittle.

Wow Mike, another fantastic set. I really like the jube shots too. The B/W conversion is really nice, I'm usually not a huge fan of B/W, but this sportrait is very pleasing to the eye.

After my RAINY weekend, I'm tempted to ask how you kept all that 'light' off your equipment!

Nicely done, and like Frank the BW and last jube shot caught my eye too!

Chris, because the D300 is clearly the better daytime camera (that's what I keep telling myself anyhow), and also that the 300 2.8 & 1.4Tc is far better than the 400 2.8

It helps with your sanity if you think this way too.

    Lovely shots as always Mike.

  9. Mike a great set of shots, and FWIW #10 does work without any faces.
