Some hummingbird pictures

  2. Beautiful series, Linda. #2 is classic. I forgot the name of that plant
    but it is a beautiful flower and it set the tone for the whole image.

    Thank you. The plant's name is fuchsia. I bought it specifically for hummingbird pictures and was pleased to get a shot of one eating out of it.
    Just looked at your album. Your hummer shots are beautiful! You're lucky to get such a variety too. I only get the rubythroat here, and usually only the female, or young male..the ones without the nice red throat anyway.
     
  4. Great shots! Can't seem to get any hummers in my yard. May have to put out one of those plants.
    Keep up the great photos.
     
  5. Excellent shots :) I love hummers but have had a hard time finding them in the wild (I don't think it's much fun to shoot them on feeders)

    Ms. Linda, these are beautiful shots. I love the flowers in the pictures. Im trying to set my yard up so would you let us know what they are? Thanks!

    Thanks for the comments everyone.
    The plants in my yard that they seem to like the most are the fuchsia and butterfly bush..that's the white flower and the purple flower in the pics.
