I enjoy trying to take photographs that convey a different mood than normal. Do any of them work?

This YCNH was perched and being rim lighted by some strong light. I liked the bright background so I underexposed this image by nearly three stops to accentuate the bright areas and keep the dark areas dark. I waited a long time for him to turn his head so the eye would light up.

This RHWP came to this stump frequently so I backed way up and framed this scene in camera as you see here. Luckily he came back and perched for a second right where I was hoping he would.

This greenie was continuously picking at something on his feet and when he did it formed the shape you see here. I thought the subdued lighting added to his seemingly relaxed posture. It kind of looks like the state of Florida is under his bottom doesn't it?

A young Kestrel looking unsure about what's out there. Technically not a good image but hopefully it is aesthetically pleasing.

    Very Artsy Andy. Nice work.
  6. Very very nice. The first one is a real winner. On my laptop the kestrel background brightness looks like it could be knocked down a bit.

Thank you. I probably could tone the tree down a bit. I'll check that if I ever print that one.
