Nothing really exotic, but just some shorebirds that can be found in Southern China at this time of the year. Taken mostly yesterday in between heavy rain periods, so light was not ideal. I hope I got the ID right.

And I like this head on view. I think the red things were snail eggs.

Wo Phil, you're turning into an "Asian Flew!" Pardon the pun.

That is a fascinating bird. The entire series is very well done. Which lens were you using.

Phil....

The Cinnamon Bittern just gave me goose bumps pal.....

How long would it take me to fly / drive to this place from the east coast of the USA?

That is a nice series Phil. Especially number 5. Have you been taking lessoms from Jim F?

Bob F.
Thank you very much Bob. Jim is my idol and I would be very happy if he can take me as his apprentice.

Thanks Rich. I was using the Sigma 500, a really great lens.

Congrats Phil, this is a very nice series and a great variety. The Bittern looks like a species of Heron.
Thank you Frank. I was extremely excited when I spotted the Bittern. It's my first sighting, and the rain stopped for me to take some decent shots.

Fantastic Phil! Lovely photos, so nice to see what birds you have locally, too.

Thank you Paul. I would like to show our friends here what birds we have here.

Very nice Phil! Love that last shot.

Anthony
Thank you very much Anthony. The last one is also my favorite.

Wonderful series Phil!!
Thank you very much, Dave.

Your new lenses and time is paying off Phil, very nice series of shots.
Thanks for the kind comment, Gordon.

Wonderful set, Phil! Love the low shooting angle-adds a lot to the shots.
Thank Dave. I took the shots from the car with a sandbag.
