Got to take my Tokina 12-24mm out for the first time yesterday in London. Here are some B/W conversions.

Yeah, it was my first time out and I was VERY impressed with the image quality. Nice and contrasty, great colors (even though I only posted the B/W conversions), and very sturdy feeling. I went back and forth between the Tokina and the Sigma 10-20, so I was glad to see the results.

I know this is off topic but I would really like to see something from or of the London Eye from one of you Brits. Is that huge ferris wheel thing still turning?

    Hi David,

It's still spinning... Unfortunately I didn't get that far down the Thames the other day; with the wide-angle being the right lens for it I should have tried though. I'm sure you'll see an 'Eye' shot from me or from some of the other UK folks soon enough.

Ptchfork: Thanks. That's one of the benefits of a rainy England: Great clouds and sky!

Nice captures. I just bought a Sigma 10-20mm and need to get out and put it to the test.

If my results are as good as yours, I'll be happy...

I look forward to seeing them. Reviews are quite good for that lens. For me, the Tokina just 'fit' better with the other lens ranges I had.
