As I mentioned in my previous submission, I'm trying to get this B&W conversion thing worked out. I've been having trouble getting the conversions to look like my B&W work did when I was working in the dark room. So constructive comments are appreciated.

These are lovely images and beautiful conversions Chris. What are you using? A lot of people here use Nik Silver Efex Pro which is either as simple or complex as you want it to be. Have you looked at it? I think you can still take it for a free trial.

However, it looks as though you're doing an excellent job whatever process you're using!

NX2 seems to be doing just fine. I really like the images. It's a toss-up between 2 and 3 for my favorite of the group.

I'm back just to say that, setting aside any questions of your conversion methods, these are stunning photos. For reasons I can't yet fully explain, number 4 keeps pulling me back to look again. I love it.
