Friend & business partner - the lighting equipment is his and he had just brought over a boom, smaller softbox, and the canvas backdrop so we decided to try them out :biggrin:

Thanks Mitch! I'll move the main light as suggested for my next shots.

I agree with the comments above, but the lighting looks great otherwise. Well done. This type of shot works great for social media profiles, etc.

Hey, I like them both. Agree with Mitch, but I would add that I find the shadow of the head on the chest a little distracting, more so on the second. This can be avoided by either repositioning your reflector and or moving the hairlight a touch closer to the camera. Nicely done though.

Definitely use the reflector. The right side of his face without the reflector is wayy to dark, IMO.
