Those are awesome!
Just an observation regarding Lock-on on the D200
I usually shoot Lock-on at normal. In this shot,
For my first time I found that Lock-on hurt focus in this situation. I switched it off and it focused better. I still feel that for me normal is better under most situations.
The shot was quite difficult. The riders were coming right at me, and because of the nature of the course they appeared quickly out of nowhere and were hitting the drop quickly. Total time from aquiring focus to snapping the shot was about half a second.
Nice, I like the flash work
I like the flash work too. Looks like you panned well also. Overall, very well done.
Great shots, looks like you were close to the action on the panning shots.
I like 1,3,& 6 the best . Good job.
Nice work. #3 really captured the focus of the rider.
