With the exception of #3 & 4 that were taken with the Nikkor 50mm f/1.4 G, these were all taken with an old M42 lens: Carl Zeiss MC Sonnar 135mm f/3.5. My last "acquisition".

I do believe the sonnar formula has an especially pleasing rendering.

Such a soft crispness to the Zeiss images, and a graceful fall-off in focus sharpness. Very nice.
The second one works best for me mostly because I'm partial to that style.
Lovely images, Bart! I agree with Nick about the lenses. The Zeiss captures the gracefulness of the flowers.
