Some Sort of Parrot

  5. I think that the bird on the left is a blue and yellow macaw, but the one on the right looks like a blue-throated macaw to me. The blue and yellow colours on these species are subtly different, but unfortunately the saturation is rather high on this shot, so it isn't easy to distinguish the species except by the colours of their throats.

    Yep one is a Blue-throated Macaw and your colours are way,way out.

  8. Well I just looked at these pics on my screen at work and they do look WAY over saturated. Guess it's time to recalibrate the 'ol monitor.
