Some Weekend Birding

very hard to capture both shots.. as the Geese are very protective.. and the eagle. well this was very early this morning, in a tree. had to really push the EV to get enough light and hold the camera, on a bean bag out the window.
all shot at the National wet lands near us.

Not sure if #1, dines on # 2.

all shot with a D300, 3002.8 AF-s and 1.4 TC.
really need to upgrade to the D7100 as 800 ISO is my max on the D300. the goslings were ok as it was getting light out by this time. the juvi-Bald Eagle was in a tree and after I had what I though were enough shots, I drove under the tree, opened the sunroof and shot up to capture this image.

Like them both.Sure wish I had the D7100 and the new 80-400. Hope to have them both soon. Just need to sneak them past my wife.
