Had to do some stuff near the L. A. Zoo so I figured I'd stop by and see what me and the Machine Gun could do. Well 1st off the whole place is under Construction, so most of the good animals are somewhere else   The lighting is contrasting to say the least   :Ouch: Well instead of words this is how the place made me feel

anyway managed just a few shots that didn't make the trash and here they are. Sorry about ID's I'm not real good at taking notes   and many of the ID plaques were missing

    Screaming something or other

My best shot of the day I think ??

these little guys were to cute but the light was Arggggg (should of used flash?)

Well at least I know a Tiger when I see one

I love the pose and action in the last two, but again the light was just sucky sucky sucky and this was at 10:30am (they don't open till 10a   )

I was told by one of the zookeepers that construction is going to be at least two years before it is done. Just a heads up for you locals.
  2. Ben,
Very nice I like the Crane also the play of the contrasting colors is very nice. I also like the tiger shot the grass partially hiding it's face give it a more natural setting look

All very worthy compositionally. All would benefit from a little shadow recovery in CS.

Yes I was glad Mr. Tiger gave me a pose he spent most of his time in heavy shade and just came out for a couple minutes to give me this shot
