Something A Little different....(pic)

Discussion in 'General Discussion' started by Doug Barber, Nov 18, 2005.

  1. Greetings all:
    I thought I would post an image that might be a little different than what I have been posting of late.
    This one is sort of taking me out of the "Old Tme" feel and into something a little closer to today....
    Hope you enjoy...

    What the heck... I'll add a second one from the same series....

    I really like the second one alot Doug. Very good light and detail.

    Just personal I don't care for the first.
    Guess I just don't have the imagination for half a person:>)

    I love the second image, great seeing those sparks shooting around. Thanks for sharing.
  15. Hi Gordon;
    Thanks for the kind words...
    The (grinder) image was fun to do but a little tricky from a metering standpoint.
    It took me a couple images to figure out how the camera was reacting to the scene and then I needed to figure out how to deal with the wide dynamic range.
    But in the end it worked out okay and as I said, it was fun to do.
    Thanks again
  16. Thanks Ron...
    I always find it interesting as to what one can do when one is subject deprived....lol
