Something Special or Just Not Sharp

All the settings were wrong on the camera when I first saw the deer, but the scene was beautiful. I tried to capture its movement and every time I look at the shot and the motion it conveys, it grabs me. Perhaps it's just the detail in the tail. What do you think?

Greg and Gary, thanks for your thoughts. I'm happy you both liked it. I had come to the same conclusion about its impressionist appearance. I printed it on inexpensive glossy paper, because that's what I have on hand, but it cries out for a ragged edge border and paper with almost a water color look. I'm going to try to see what I come up with.
