Sommer inspired me to add some of my drive + 1

  1. Just a tiny weed on the road side. Sigma105 f5.6 built in flash as fill


    Pigeon Forge Mill. Sigma 10-20 f32 28 seconds to get water and light(at dawn). I posted this once elsewhere but I don't think any of you saw this.


    Mabry Mill (Blue Ridge Parkway) just post dawn. 18-70 f25 1.8 sec


    Creek at Cades 18-70 (53mm) 5/8 sec f25


    Field at Cades Deer on left Horses and Mules on the right


    Shrub at Cades 60 micro SB800 fill f16


    Shrub 60 micro f10 1/200 sec


    Last one have faith

    At Cades 17-80 f7 1/40th sec


    Bit over processed Heron 70-300vr with 1.4 TC

    Wow John, these are beautiful. The evening shot of the waterfall is breathtaking. What a wonderful variety of captures.

  5. Great stuff, John. Glad you posted these I like all of them, but I've got a special fondness for Mabry Mill-I grew up just a few miles away.

  13. Beautiful!!! That first image -- WOW! All of them are just super! On my way home I was tempted to swing by the Smokies, too, but then decided against it. That is such a gorgeous place and now with spring here, it would be absolutely wondrous. You had a great road trip!
