  1. Added these two species to my capture list today.
    Dark-eyed Junco

    Eastern Phoebe

Gained access to a beautiful tract of private land today. shows promise for a great place to get some good wildlife shots. very diverse habitat ranging from pond, swamp, hardwoods and a few stands of pine.

Beautiful shots Dave. Nice little birdies that are so hard to shoot.

I think I would crop some of the top off in both images.
  4. I recognized the junco right away but didn't know the #2 birdie. Excellent captures, nice little birdie refuge you've managed to squirrel. Excellent captures, Dave. Feel proud.
  5. Dave Dave dave I think you got the hang of it.. these are wonderful, congrats on the new hunting grounds.

Very nice shots Dave. It has been nice to see your shots continue to improve (just like the rest of us) as you post them, and incorporate both your own experiences and the feedback from fellow Cafe members. I would say that these are some of your best, but that would really apply to several of your recent posts.

Feels good when you finally get the hang of it, huh?

Very kind comments as I feel I still have a BUNCH to learn, but it is nice to start getting some decent results. All of the Cafe members are great and several have benn most inspiring and helpful.
