Looks like you got a nice shot of a Bittern.. rather elusive and hard to get... nice job. Not sure where this was captured but looks like our American Bittern.

that is a little greenie (green heron) and he is not supposed to be yellow (watch that histogram and lower the exposure). If you shot this in raw it can prob be fixed nicely

btw the composition is very nice

Well thats what I get for checking the forums from my cell phone lol.. Would have to agree with the Squacco Heron after searching it and birds in Bahrain ...

inside my jeep passing very slowly by the river with nikon
d300 and prime 300m f4 at 7 am
