Southern Doublecollared Sunbird (Hoekwil, South Africa)

  1. I shot this one also down in the Garden Route last week. Such vast bird life down there I shot 1200 photos in just one morning and I am still trying to sift through them all ... quite a job. This is a Southern Doublecollared Sunbird which I shot in Hoekwil area. It was cloudy all day but in the late afternoon the sun peeked it's head out for a brief period which enabled me to get this shot with the sunbird's colours all lit up. Hope you like.
