    Hey everyone,

I've noticed several comments about the missing Spelling Cow button, and wanted to let you know that if you are using Firefox or Mozilla (which you should be if you value the security on your system) there is a much better tool available out there. I've been using it for several months and like it a lot.

It is call Spellbound (the version I have is 0.7.3), and it allows you to check the spelling in any text box on a web page, just by right-clicking and selecting the Check Spelling option. It allows you to add custom words (unlike the Cow), and is much faster. I think that you can download it from here:

If you are still using Internet Explorer, there are also freeware spell checkers available for it also, but I don't recall the URL any more.

    Hope this helps.

Yeah, that's the one I used to use. Spellbound for Firefox is very similar.

  3. Nice little addition to my browser.

    Thanks for the link, Frank.

Thanks for the site, will give it a try
  8. Yeah, free iespell works great. Big thumbs up.
I used spell cow all the time because it was right there but iespell is so nice because i can click-add technical words that I frequently use like salpingo-oophrectomy and friggindustbunnies. Spellcow wasn't so easily trainable.
