Spider ID

Discussion in 'Macro, Flowers, Insects, and Greenery' started by cajun angel, Jul 6, 2008.

  1. Okay, this is NOT A GOOD PHOTO, this critter is still on my computer monitor and not having a macro or anything similar, I did the best I could do. So, anyone out there that's good on spider ID, take a stab at it! I tried hard to work on lighting, but ended up tweaking the best I could do in PS. Okay, here's da critter!

  2. That's a jumping spider, but there are so many species in the US that a more precise ID would be mere guessing from my side.

    Cheers

  4. If I had a video cam, I could have made it on AFV! That spider would follow my curser and I had it going in circles! Whatever the spider "was" it's history. One of the kids sent it off to "spider heaven." Thanks for the attempt on ID. The spider was quite small though, I zoomed in as best I could do.
