Nice Thomas, really like that last shot Hang on buddy:smile:
  4. Thanks Phil and Tim. Went home pretty happy with the Bittern shots, he was real accommodating.
  5. Thomas, very nice set. Your Bittern shots are super and you sure captured some very interesting poses. The Stilt inflight shot is sweet, these guys sure do chatter to you when you disturb them don't they.

  6. Thanks Louie. You're not kidding about the chatter, if they are around and you're setting up for a nearby bird, they can and often do, blow the whole approach. They are fun though!
  7. I love them all - - - but the last one Oh what a moment!!! I just love that one.

    Congratulations Thomas - amazing series

    Excellent set Thomas.
  9. Thanks Lil and Frank. Was pretty pumped watching the Bittern, he gave quite a of of poses while never really moving very far.
  10. Thomas,
Your last shot of the bittern is hilarious - not your every-day pose.
    Great "hunting" story!

Love the spoonies. I do that pose during yoga, only the non-standing leg wraps around the front rather than the back. Maybe I'll suggest to my instructor the new "Spoonbill Pose" and we'll all wrap the other way...
  12. Absolutely beautiful! The last shot was rather funny to me! Gave me a nice chuckle!
  13. Simply stunning. Such beautiful birds and you captured them perfectly.

Ok, the AB got my :)  of the day. Great shot showing "character" in the Bird. Way to go. Also very nice series.
  15. Thanks all, for checking in. Evryone enjoyed that last image as did I. I thought it was kinda funny how he ahd turned around on the reeds and came back under that way, and the fact that he froze for a few seconds, I made sure I got at least one keeper out of it!
