Ok I wanted to make this as easy as possible so here it is:

Sports forum challenge #36, "Your Best".

Post your best shot you have ever taken. The best of the best, show us what you feel is the greatest shot you have ever taken.

Entries can be from 50 years ago to today. They can be digital or film (scanned). They must be yours of course. The image size must be at least 800pixels at the largest side so that we can view it with ease.

I always come back to this image. There is just something about it that I really really like about it.

It's pre-season, but still the best shot I've ever gotten of action for sports.

  7. Pre-Nikon, pre-slr days, but still my favorite. (what made this shot even more fun was, he won the battle for home plate)

    Goalie Save!

Not bad for a slow lens, old camera, shooting thru glass and lousy lighting last season. Have obtained some faster glass for this upcoming season.

I keep coming back to this one. I even made a flyer out of it this year.

I like this one. This little slip of a gal at Catcher was kinda being looked down on by the bigger gals on the Dixie County Bears. During this play the runner was coming home on a hit. Catcher got the out, then threw to 2nd to almost catch the runner, from 1st for another out. Second basemen threw back home and the catcher nailed the second gal out at the plate that was coming from 2nd. Got two outs herself and almost assisted in the third. She is now feared by opposing teams.
  18. My favorite, so far.

Don't think it's my "best", but it sold well, and it's one of my all-time favorites. That makes it my entry for the challenge.

An extra for fun. I think it's a "better" photo, but still like the other one better. I know, doesn't make much sense, but what the heck.
