Spy meets the Tokina 12-24

Discussion in 'Other Animals' started by RKnecht, Jul 13, 2007.

  1. This is "Spy", our 1 year old (tomorrow) Doberman. She is very patient for her age and allowed me to mess around with the Tokina 12-24. I really like this lens! Not only does it seem great for landscapes, but it adds a new (for me) way to photograph my dogs (and other pets). These are straight from the camera with just a slight bit of contrast adjustment. Let me know what you think. Let the C&C fly!

  2. Rich,
These are fun! I've got a nearly one year old dog as well. I should try photographing him with my Sigma 10-20. I don't think he will be as patient, though. For some reason he is really attached to me and just smothers me with his attention when I am near.!

I'm working on obedience, but we aren't there yet.

BTW, your dog is beautiful. Mine is a Red Heeler that I rescued from the dog pound about 6 weeks ago.......talk about a lot of energy.

Interesting shots, all nice but my fav is #1.

She is a beauty, we had dobermans when I was growing up, great pets each with a unique personality!
