I took the following photo of a squirrel scrounging for birdfood in my yard.

When blowing the image up to full size, I noticed the passenger on his right ear  Taken with a D200 and 300 f/4 with 1.7x TC. I was probably about 20' from him.

  2. Cute little guy. At least the passenger is not a tick or flea! Often when you crop in nature shots, you get a surprise.
  3. nice shot ... we've got a squirrel in our yard that nibbles on the ground for birdseed from the feeder above. i've been meaning to get out there with my camera - you've given me inspiration to do so!

Very cute, they can be troublesome when they want food.
We have to avoid giving them food, since we have birds in the screened patio and they wouldn't mind tearing the screen to get the birdfood. I gave them pecans once and they started frequenting the patio screen, driving the dogs and the birds crazy :)
