    Hi Y'all,

Lately Frank has been a tad envious about the photo ops down here in Florida. I'm afraid he might get a bit upset to see the visitors to the Viera Wetlands' click ponds

    NIKON D200    ---    500mm    f/8.0    1/800s    ISO 160

there were lots of ops for flight shots

    NIKON D2X    ---    500mm    f/6.7    1/1600s    ISO 200

    NIKON D2X    ---    500mm    f/6.7    1/1000s    ISO 160

the spoonbills hung out in groups
    NIKON D200    ---    500mm    f/8.0    1/1000s    ISO 160

    and singularly
    NIKON D200    ---    500mm    f/8.0    1/1000s    ISO 160

    Stilts were dropping in
    NIKON D200    ---    500mm    f/5.6    1/1250s    ISO 160

a juvenile little blue was hanging out
    NIKON D200    ---    500mm    f/8.0    1/1000s    ISO 160

in the wetlands I was able to get some close-ups
    NIKON D2X    ---    500mm    f/6.7    1/350s    ISO 250

    NIKON D2X    ---    500mm    f/8.0    1/1250s    ISO 400

the sandhills were so close I had to switch to the 18-200 to get this shot
    NIKON D2X    ---    130mm    f/8.0    1/1000s    ISO 400

Amazing. Are you sure they were wild and not hired for you to torment us up north?

Harry old buddy, you're killing me. I talked to my boss last Friday about coming down week-after-next and got a big no, so unfortunately, I won't be joining Mike Mac and the Florida crew. I'm so disappointed, and these shots just make the torment worse. Guess I'll have to be satisfied shooting the back-yard birdies this summer. :frown:

    Nice shots though.

  20. Excellent set Harry. The close up of the Sandhill Crane is a terrific shot. I'd have to say a lot of us are envious to see this many birds....I'm on my way back. (I wish)
