Very nice B&W picture. I´d clone out the traffic sign onto the right column, though...Where was it taken? London? Why do you title it as "St. George´s Day"?

Thanks Rui

I love the 'No traffic' sign! It's ironic as you can't drive through there anyway

It's Leadenhall Market in the financial district of London and the flags would have been put up for St George's day which was April 23rd. In a few days they will all come down again.

Nice symmetry, Counter.

Us English should get 'rowdy' like the celts with their national days. Unfortunately the Cross of St George has developed connotations which are slightly less patriotic these days (or more patriotic, if you have slightly fascist tendencies!)
