Got the camera out to play with the telescope, but that went bust so I put it on a tripod and got this shot of the big dipper:
D3100 with kit lens at 18mm. 30s, f/3.5, ISO 800.
The stars were amazingly clear; if I had an intervalometer I would have stayed up and made some exposures for some star trails.
