Here are a few shots from a recent trip to Southeastern Oregon. Steens Mountain is an amazing place to see and I hope these photos do it some justice.

Here is a shot of Kiger Gorge:

This is one of Wildhorse Lake. It was a pretty good hike down--not to mention back--with a 1500' elevation change in about two miles (puff, puff):

While we were there in late July, it was still spring on the mountain. Here is a sample of some of the amazing views of wildflowers we enjoyed:

    I hope you enjoy these.

Nice pictures, Dann. That's an area that is on our "To Go" list!

Thanks, John. It's a long haul over there, but never disappoints.

Thanks, Alex. I'm still pretty new to my D-90 and only an occasional shooter, but it's fun to practice with such good subject matter.

Great set! I like #2 the most for the depth I can see. Very well done.

    Thanks for sharing!

Thanks, Rob. It's big, beautiful country and pretty tough to capture with a photograph.

Beautiful, Rob. A guy could take a lifetime shooting that area with no trouble.
