Works for people, especially kids, and landscapes too. I spend a lot of my landscape time down on my knees (kneepad are a key part of my kit) but I have to admit that "advanced age" sometimes makes getting back up in to an olympic sport

Back in the "film days", a friend of mine had a photo of a mushroom that he had hung on his wall. It was indeed at eye level and then some. I asked about it and he said whenever he goes shooting mushrooms, he always brings along a small shovel to dig a hole to put the camera in prior to shooting.
