I would be hesitant to position my camera too close to the water level. A few years ago, I had my gear bathed in saltwater due to a rogue wave...and that wasn't fun. Since then, I don't trust my judgement in terms of when one of these waves will be approaching!Good info except maybe the ‘get wet’ tip. Putting the tide behind you is not good advice
I got it to work on my D500. Are you sure you picked center joystick and not the one above it which is directional joystick?Watched that, good info again from Steve. I tried to set up my D500 to do that center joystick push to get the virtual horizon, no way could I get it to work.
I'm pretty sure I was center joystick. The menu seems to highlight the button you want to use. I couldn't see what to do next. I finally gave up.I got it to work on my D500. Are you sure you picked center joystick and not the one above it which is directional joystick?
Got it. Had to push the ? button to bring up more selections.I'm pretty sure I was center joystick. The menu seems to highlight the button you want to use. I couldn't see what to do next. I finally gave up.
Me. Just not in the water.Tip #1, Get low. Who in the heck would do that???
I've heard that's only recommended when there are gators in the water...Tip #1, Get low. Who in the heck would do that???
