  2. enjoyed seeing these and your earlier shots. . . I can see you have a challenge shooting this nest. . . with the sun to your back, all you will get is the back of the parent.
     
  3. In considerate of them to say the least and in Evening sun the sky blows out and the bird is shaded by the Tree

    There is something about a parent feeding its offspring that touches me. Loved the shots!

  7. You would love this site Lisa, I think that is all they do all day long.

    A little known fact: Bird Parents reduce feed times to encourage Chicks to leave the nest.

    It may work with humans also!!! :biggrin::tongue:

    Is that site out there in Alabama? If so, I need to make a trip out that way some day. Seems like a lot of bird shots I see and admire are taken out in that part of the Country.

  9. Yes in Northern Alabama nearest big town is Guntersville or 30 mile South of Huntsville. President visting today also.

    I'm going of a day trip tomorrow starting 5 AM all day to scout a new 1300 Acre site with restricted access and being managed for wildlife habitat. I'm working on a new project as I believe the Kestrels will be gone soon.
