Still Humming along. Even the Z6 does BIF's

Now that I've done some reading. Apparently any Hummer in Eastern Canada is most likely a Ruby Throated. Thanks to forum members for the heads up.
Still not a lot to shoot around here...waiting for the fall migration. My trusty Ruby Throats are willing though literally flighty models.

The 2-3 species we have down here seem to avoid the sun and taunt me from the shade in the evenings. I tried with a couple of speedlights, but the hummers changed their flight paths and hid behind the feeders :mad:

Thanks Nick...2-3 species...lucky... I've sat and waited in the morning light; evening light and as it is got very dark. Eventually they got comfortable with my presence.
Oh no. Someone is defunding our Post. Hope the delay doesn't outlast their nutritional needs.
Not a problem...I packed them a lunch
