Great work. I am likewise enjoying my 70-300 VR. Recently took about 100 pics during a bumpy jeep ride capturing wild life and although my composition was often off the mark the image quality was amazing. The lenses and VR are a great combo.
Very good, Jimmy!
Great shots and that second from last is fantastic mate!
these r awesome, Jimmy ...keep em commin....;-))
Really like them all
Thanks Guys. I still can't beleive what a great value this lens is when I look at the price tag on other long lenses. To me the only thing that sets this apart is low light capabilities. I can live with that.
Nice shots. Mine just came today, I hope I like it as much as many here on the forum do.
You are right, its a stellar lens for a great price.. and wow some nice shots
i too love the results from this lens:
That is an absolute cracker of an image. It is certainly intent on finding lunch.
Gets more use than any other lens in my bag...
It kinda works for landscapes too:
70mm, 1/320@f11, D200
Nice shots guys.
Very impressive shots. I have just been noodling around with mine, which I have only had for about two weeks. I purchased it primarily to use when soccer season starts in about six weeks. I'm concerned, though, that it won't be fast enough -- but the 70-200mm f/2.8 VR is not in the cards just yet. Anyone have any examples of action/sports shots with this lens? Thanks.
Very Nice Images All! I am scrimping and counting my pennies to get one soon. Maybe cash in on some airline miles to get one...very nice images indeed. Would be an awesome lens to add to my arsenal.
Thanks for sharing.
I'm going to order one for my wife. She uses my D70/18-70 combo but would like more reach in a light package. I think the VR would be welcomed as well.
If your on the fence about getting this lens I promise you will not be disappointed. If you check the link to my online gallery you will see that 90% of my images are shot with this lens. Most of them at 300mm also.
Here are a couple.
