Still trying to get a good photo of these swallows

    It's impossible to get close to them because they're nesting on a wall of the dam across the water from the nearest access point. The nests are always shadowed, even in the brightest sun. And these birds are fast!

  2. This is a fun challenge. I've seen the nests but never thought to try a shot. Keep them coming.

    Interesting images. I found a bridge about 40 miles from my home that has a large population that looks just like this. You have inspired me to get over there and get some images. These photos are an excellent representation of how they live. FAST! :biggrin:

    Thanks John and Andy. I find their nests to be fascinating as well. Think of all the work that goes into building them.
