Storm's A Brewing ...

Took this on the first day of our car trip ... weather was mighty stormy in southern Idaho. Saw the sky at a rest stop (admittedly not the best foreground) and immediately saw the potential for a great B&W treatment.

I find it interesting how our camera teaches us to see, or actually teaches us to look.
It is the old question: Are we artists because we see things differently, or do we see things differently because we are artists?

(I just showed this to my husband, and he commented that the dark cloud looks like an alligator biting the sky - we have Florida mentality! )

Very dramatic. If it were mine I would crop out some of the sky. I think a landscape view suits the buildings and brings Them into more focus.
