Stormy Night at Pier 60

Discussion in 'Photojournalism, Candids and Street Photography' started by Jeff Fillmore, Sep 1, 2008.

  1. Took a little trip down to Pier 60 in Clearwater to see if Hurricane Gustav was churning up the Gulf of Mexico- a little more waves than usual but not much else going on here aside from some rain. Hopefully it will not be as bad as predicted for others. My prayers go out to those in it's path.

  8. Thanks Bob-

Thanks Alvin- that is my favorite as well-

    Thanks Steve-

  9. Thanks Greg- I used the tripod for all the long exposure shots. Some of the others in the link were taken down by the water. Including this one- where I had to grab the equipment and run from a big wave mid-exposure.

I really like the mood and the sense of motion you captured with the waves. Great job.
