Good Afternoon Rod, I was just about ready to have the internet detectives head out to locate you! Hey, this is a real nice series of images. Tough, tough, tough to handle blowing out those shiny orange shirts, but you did an outstanding job with your exposure settings. The backgrounds are unobtrussive and the action is sweet. I am shooting a bit of Little League on Tuesday, I hope to do as well as you did with these. I haven't shot baseball in almost two weeks, I'm undoubtedly a bit rusty....but I can't wait to shoot the little guys for a change. Thanks for sharing and don't stay away so long anymore.

Thank you Frank...You are way too kind...I wasn't as concerned about the
jerseys as I was the anoying backgrounds..I tried to stay around f3.2 - f4
which brings in more of the background...But I think my pics turned out a
little better this time out. Your outing will be fine. And you being rusty only
after 2 weeks...please..it woulk take a lot longer than that for you to get
    rusty...

Thanks Randy Look forward to some of your super sports shots again. Or has
Josh turned you into a "portrait" guy yet ??

Thank you Gale. It was nice to be out shooting baseball again. I have a 12 team
tournament I am doing in 2 weeks.....Very nervous for sure.

    Thank you Haze...

  8. Hey Rod,

Great stuff. Whoever that was pitching was throwing kind of hard by the looks of the dust flying out of that catchers mitt. Keep them coming.

Thanks Topher...I like shooting youth baseball..It's fun...Lot's of emotion.
Don't sell yourself short...Your stuff is great !

Thank you much Ty...I don't think he was throwing that hard..Maybe the catcher
just rolled his glove in the dirt first ?

    Thanks again...BTW - sorry I missed the gathering in Chicago..Looked like a
fun time..Just too many things on the calendar

Thanks Peter. It was a fun and warm day for sure.
