Still playing with Art History Brush.....comments welcome
I thought that there would have been some takers on this one.
I like the treatment and think it works particulalry well.
What do you think a matching yellow fine line frame would do???
I think it may enhance...just a thought.
Great idea Ray !! will try it and see....thanks for commenting
imo, it's a bit too realistic still, kinda like a slightly oof pic.
yeah.....I was afraid of that...:frown: I am still new at the AHB and not really sure WHAT it is supposed to look like.....will try for a more painterly look next time.....thanks for the input
As suggested by Ray....here's a frame...
OHHH yes yellow frame makes all the difference. Amazing.
I have not a clue how to use the AHB.. lol
For me it brings the shot together with the yellow frame.
What you have done imo is also nice because it is so simple and plain it complements rather than detracts from the intended image.
For me it is complete.
Very best wishes
Thanks for looking and commenting Gale.. Now that I have used the AHB a few times it is getting easier and truly has some potential for me (and others like me who can only draw stick figures).....I may do a tut sometime cause it really ain't that hard.....I just don't know what the end product is supposed to look like yet...
Frame inside the picture?
That yellow frame is done very well
Probably a dumb question, but how can you add such a frame inside a photo? I work with Photoshop 7 and and I'm trying to learn all the editing techniques from reading the internet
Edit: I already started a new thread here: https://www.nikoncafe.com/vforums/showthread.php?t=70298
I really like that. the yellow frame really adds to it!
Thanks Frank....I see your question was answered in the other thread
Thanks Ann...appreciate the comment
A closed mouth gathers no foot
That's just TOO funny!... but true.
Yep....too true !! Thanks Woody
Nice, nice, nice!!! I think you did a fine job and it has a nice subtle watercolor effect. I have not really done much with the AHB it looks like it could be very interesting. It could give some of my dull flower pictures some new life!
I've no experience with the AHB, but like the result you have with your sunflower. I like the simplicity of it and the frame looks great with it. The background is very pleasing with the flower too. Nice work!
Thanks Robert
